Niloufer Hospital launches AI-based tool for blood testing – ET HealthWorld

Hyderabad: Niloufer Hospital has introduced AmruthSwasthBharath, an AI-based diagnostic tool for non-invasive blood testing.

The hospital states that the tool is capable of delivering results in under a minute. The tool, powered by Quick Vitals, was launched at the hospital’s Red Hills, Lakdikapul campus.

Using AI and deep learning via Remote Photoplethysmography (PPG), the tool allows patients to obtain key health parameters—such as blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rate, respiration rate, and hemoglobin A1c—through a smartphone or tablet in 20 to 60 seconds.

The device supports contactless spot checks using camera-based devices and continuous monitoring through contact-based PPG sensors.

According to the hospital, the tool is tailored for use in Indian healthcare settings, particularly government hospitals.

Quick Vitals has emphasized data security, enabling multi-user registration while ensuring patient privacy and secure sharing of data with authorized healthcare providers.

Commenting on the development, Prof. Dr. Ravi Kumar, Superintendent of Niloufer Hospital, said, “The tool is particularly beneficial for children and pregnant women, facilitating regular and accessible health assessments.”
